1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use refer to the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) web platform located at www.africafashionweeknigeria.com, any subdomains of www.africafashionweeknigeria.com, and any related microsites or websites operated by the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (all referred to under the term “the Site”).

By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time without notice to you and you agree to be bound by any such changes in your subsequent use of the Site.

Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) reserves the right to allocate showcasing slots and time to designers as it deems fit.

The agreement between you and AFWL formed on the basis of these Terms of Use (the “Agreement”) shall terminate immediately if you breach these Terms of Use. AFWN reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time. The termination of this Agreement or your right to use the Site is without prejudice to any rights which the AFWN may have against you in respect of such breach.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials available on the Site (the “Materials”) – including but not limited to text, video, data, clips, audio clips, designs, logos, illustrations, and still images – are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual property and proprietary rights and must not be used for any purpose other than educational, informational and non-commercial viewing purposes.

You may download and print information from the Site for your own personal use only.

The Materials contained in the Site are either owned by Africa Fashion Week Nigeria or have been licensed by the partners or sponsors of the AFWN for inclusion within the Site.

AFWN would like to hear from any intellectual property rights owners who are not properly identified on the Site so that we may make the necessary corrections and display the appropriate notices.

3. Disclaimers

This Site contains material that may be unsuitable for people under the age of 18. The Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) bears no responsibility for people under the age of 18 viewings unsuitable material on this Site.

This Site may contain material that some people may find offensive. AFWN would like to stress that it has no intention of causing any offense and suggests that people who find material contained on the Site offensive should either not view the material in question or should not visit the Site. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude AFWN’s liability for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.

As a convenience to users of the Site, the Site includes links to other websites or material which are beyond its control. AFWN is not responsible for content on the Internet or World Wide Web pages outside the Site.

4. Refund Policy

Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) will under no circumstance offer a refund for any payment made for showcase/exhibition on the platform. Payments made can only be transferred to subsequent shows if agreed by the governing committee.

5. General

English law shall apply to these terms, notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based. You irrevocably agree that The Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of The High Court of any State. The place of performance shall be, Nigeria.
